A not-for-profit vibrant music & creative hub, repurposed from a metal container in Knocknaheeny in the Northside of Cork City. Established by GMCBeats in 2012 with the support of Music Generation Cork City, The Kabin has grown out of a love for hip hop, songwriting, performance and creative expression.
Who’s in the crew?
We’re a crew of songwriters, rappers, musicians, creatives, volunteers and participants of all ages who believe in the power of making music and being creative.
What do we do?
We run workshops, camps and projects in a safe, fun, non-judgemental space filled with instruments, music production and recording equipment.
People from the local community and beyond can freely express themselves through rap, songwriting, poetry, video making, podcasting, art and digital media.
